Andrew and Allison | Estes Park Wedding

I haven’t had this much fun at a wedding in a long time!  Andrew and Allison tied the knot a few weeks ago in Estes Park,  Colorado at the Black Canyon Inn!  The over cast skies made for great portraits and while the rain interrupted the ceremony for a little bit, they were able to duck under the roof of the open air theater to finish their ceremony!

Shortly after the ceremony ended the rain stopped just in time for the bridal portraits and even gave way to a little sunshine. The Lavender Rustic Chic was a perfect complement to the beautiful surroundings in Estes Park. The bridge and pond on the property made for a great reflection in the images.

The evening finished off at the Twin Owls Steak House on the property and Gotta Dance DJ’s kept the reception energetic and moving through out the evening with great music and an awesome light setup!

Congratulations Andy and Ally!

Nicki & Ben – Denver Engagement Portraits

Nicki and Ben are getting married this summer. They needed some Save the Date card and guest book photos so we headed out for an engagement session. Nicki has a rustic theme with plaid and so we headed out to one of my favorite state parks in the Denver area, Roxborough State Park.  The plain went perfect with the open landscape and oak trees.  It was still early in the season, but perfect for some black and whites and amazing landscapes to fit in with the rustic theme.  Can’t wait for your wedding.  Congratulations on your engagement!

Katrina & William – Denver Engagement

Katrina and Will are such a fun couple! They have a wedding coming up next summer in Aspen where they met and wanted to get some formal engagement and save the date cards out.  DeKoevend park is a great place to capture images in the fall and with a little adventure has some wonderful scenes you would never really know were part of the park.

The colors accented their love for each other.  Even their dog Lucky got into the action!  So very cute!  Can’t wait for the wedding in June!

Cynthia + Jeff | Engagement Photos

Congratulations to Cynthia and Jeff on their engagement and upcoming marriage this coming August. They love to travel and see new places and are actually new to the Colorado Springs area. We took advantage of the beautiful winter light and scenery at Fox Run Regional Park in Black Forest to capture their engagement photos. It’s such a beautiful park with a dense forest of trees and a wonderful gazebo and lake area. Cynthia and Jeff have such a wonderful chemistry together and you knew they were meant for each other. They shared their session with their wonderful dog Rocky so full of energy and perfect when it came time to be part of the pictures!  Congratulations, Cynthia and Jeff!

Katrina + Will | Couples Portraits

Katrina and Will want some couples portraits for their first anniversary together as a couple and so while they were back in Denver over the holidays we took the opportunity to head out to Cherry Creek State Park to get in a quick portrait session. It was a little chilly that afternoon, but these two warmed up quickly and it was great to see a heard of deer share our time out at the reservoir.

Katrina and Will also had some amazing wall groupings made.  What a great way to enjoy your memories!  Check them out after the gallery.

Brad and Kailey | Family Portraits

Brad and Kailey wanted to give their parents a nice wall portrait for Christmas to replace the outdated one that was on their wall.  We decided to head out to Daniels Park and it created a wonderful backdrop to create a new fresh portrait for their parents. Who says you can’t create great images in the noon day sun and in the Winter? You just have to find that right spot and with our with the mountains on the front range it made for some amazing scenery for these family portraits!  Thanks for a fun time, Brad and Kailey!

Brooke + Curtis | Denver Christmas Portraits

Brooke and Curtis needed some new family portraits and photos for their Christmas cards so we took advantage of what was left of the fall colors and headed to 17-Mile House Park. Their dogs Beau and Paisley were definitely ready to run and loved the new smells around the nature trail. We managed to get them settled for a few pictures. Brooke and Curtis were so much fun! What a fun family portraits session and a great couple!

Kayla and Dylan | Senior Portraits

Kayla and Dylan are going to be seniors this year at Horizon High School. Both are excited about their future and their final year of playing sports for the Horizon Hawks!  Kayla’s the plays third base for the girls softball team and Dylan plays middle linebacker for the football team. As High School sweethearts they decided to do their senior portraits together before graduating. We found some great locations to show off their sports, a rural setting and finally caught some beautiful light at Barr Lake for sunset which will make some amazing fine art images that will become heirlooms for their families.  Congratulations to Kayla and Dylan on their final year of high school both with bright futures ahead!
